Hoops Kansai Kansai publishes reading material about amateur basketball JP and regional sports leagues across Japan, with comparison notes on British regional basketball and community sports fixtures in the UK. That editorial work is the whole of what this site does. There are no accounts to open, no profiles to keep, and no contribution system behind a login. The only moment a visitor deliberately hands over personal data is when they write to the editorial desk through the contact page — a fixture tip, a correction, a suggestion for a school basketball training piece, or a question about anything already published.
Everything else the site learns about a visit is technical and comes from the hosting layer: pages requested, times, browser type, and the network address the request arrived from. This policy separates those two streams because they are handled differently — the message you send is yours to withdraw, while the server log exists for the safe operation of the site itself.

When you write to the desk, the message holds your name, your email address, and whatever you chose to write. Nothing else is required and nothing else is asked for. We do not attach notes to your message, and we do not keep a record of how many times you have written before.

Personal data is not sold. What does happen is narrow, and it is worth naming plainly.
Data may be processed by the hosting and email providers who operate the infrastructure behind the site, and who handle data on the operator's instructions. They run the servers and move the mail; they do not decide what the editorial desk does with a message.
